Do participants give more weight to the brand or the actual prize?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the results, <strong>82% of consumers<\/strong> surveyed give more weight to t<strong>he award than the brand<\/strong>.&nbsp; This means that just because you sell the best tires in town, your audience may be more interested in your promotion if you offer a dinner for two, or an iPhone, than a pair of your signature tires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"what-do-consumers-value-most-in-a-prize\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What do consumers value most in a prize?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s all about ease, trust, and the ability to enjoy it with others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The prize is easy to implement and enjoy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It can be easily shared and enjoy it without complications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And if it is a trusted brand, much better.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"and-now-the-million-dollar-question-what-kind-of-prize-do-consumers-prefer\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">And now the million dollar question: &nbsp;What kind of prize do consumers prefer?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We know that sometimes budget plays a role in prize selection, but here\u2019s what our survey respondents said works best \u2013 and it\u2019s not just an Apple Watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Top Picks<\/strong>: Experiences (dinners, weekend get-aways, tickets, etc.), topped the list in addition to gadgets (tablets, smartphones), both being selected by 17% of respondents as their top choice when ranking a broad range of prizes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Women also like<strong> \u201cjust for me\u201d prizes<\/strong> related to fashion and beauty (both with 11%).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The younger crowd prefers as<strong> tickets to events<\/strong>, such as movies, concerts or other events (12%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Digital Promotions Prize Survey by Easypromos was held between February \u2013 March, 2016 and results are based on more than 1700 responses from individuals who frequently participate in digital promotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote info_block is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Do you want to download the complete study? <a id=\"easylink_13864\" href=\"#\">Complete this form<\/a> and we&#8217;ll email you a PDF with the results of the Survey, which also includes the details of consumer preferences based on their age and gender.\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Are you giving the award for your digital promotion enough attention?
