There are a number of fields that you can include in the form, as shown below. However, be mindful that the more data you request, the higher the participation barrier. Users assess whether it&#8217;s worth participating in the promotion based on the quantity and nature of the data requested by the brand. If the form asks for too much personal information, the prize is not very valuable, and\/or there is little chance of winning, participants may give up. Keep this in mind when configuring your registration form.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\n\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"configuring-a-giveaway-entry-form\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Configuring a giveaway entry form<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"predefined-fields\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Predefined fields<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In all Easypromos microsite-type products, you can request the user to provide the following data fields in the registration form. These fields are always located at the top of the form, cannot be rearranged, and if activated, filling them out is mandatory:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><b>Name and surname<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. These fields are enabled by default. However, they can be hidden in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.easypromosapp.com\/blog\/en\/how-to-integrate-easypromos-with-any-user-registration-system\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">promotions with their own user identification system<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Username<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This field can be activated when the players&#8217; ranking is enabled.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Email<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. As this is an important field regarding the quality of the generated lead, it includes anti-fraud and double-validation features. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.easypromosapp.com\/easypromos-fraud-control-system\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Learn more about our fraud-control system<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Birth date<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. If you limit participation to a minimum age, the date range presented in the drop-down menu will be restricted. A specific feature to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easypromosapp.com\/blog\/en\/age-restriction-in-promotions\/\">limit the promotion by age<\/a> is also available.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Phone<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. You can include a field to request the user&#8217;s contact phone number. If you want this field to feature double validation, use the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.easypromosapp.com\/blog\/en\/mobile-registration-and-sms-validation\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SMS validation system<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Legal terms<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This field is always below the registration form and displays the most relevant information regarding the promoter of the promotion and its nature. E.g., address, ID card number, state or province, T-shirt size, etc. These fields can be set as optional and can be re-arranged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also <\/span><b>include questions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to obtain <\/span><b>additional valuable information<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> beyond personal data. However, we recommend combining the registration form with a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.easypromosapp.com\/aplicaciones-cuestionarios\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">quiz or survey application<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> if your main goal is to conduct a survey or a questionnaire.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The additional fields that you can configure in the registration form are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><b>Country<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Dropdown list with all countries. If the field is activated, filling it out is mandatory.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Text field<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Allows the user to write an open-ended response of a given length. The promotion organizer can decide whether the field is mandatory or optional. It also allows validating the content with a regular expression.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Dropdown list<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Displays a series of responses and users must select one. Use this field to keep the registration form from becoming too long when there are many options available.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Radio buttons<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Display all response options at a glance in the form. The user selects one of the options with just a click.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Autofill<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Use it when you want the user to write in the provided text field with the application suggesting possible responses.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Checkboxes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Add checkboxes at the bottom of the registration form that the user has to tick to accept an action by the administrator.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Date<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Use it if you wish to request a specific date related to the user or the promotion.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Upload a file<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Allows the user to upload a file as part of the participation process.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Hidden field<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Allows defining a fixed value to identify the entries in the promotion.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>ID field<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Requests users&#8217; identification document number.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Signature field<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Users can sign the registration form.
